Telegram founder Pavel Durov recently revealed an interview that the FBI approached a Telegram engineer, attempting to secretly hire him to install a backdoor that would allow U.S. intelligence agencies to spy on users.
This is a straight up attack on free speech. Telegram where people can actually talk freely without being spied on is their new target.
Privacy is not a crime, it’s a basic human right enshrined in the UN Charter of human rights. The Five Eyes spy agencies (US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand) are the biggest abusers of your human right to privacy. They are the largest criminal conspiracy in the world.
